The
Library

Shoot it once. Reuse it for years.

You put in the work to get every shot right for a client, and that footage keeps its value long after the project wraps. The Library archives it into a searchable library so the clips you perfected are ready to reuse the next time you, or that client, need them. Build it once, pull from it for years.

How It Works

Two modes. Add and Pull.

Add to the Library copies the clips worth keeping into a library sorted by client and project. Pull from the Library finds them again and sends them straight into your next edit.

The Headline Feature · Client Footage Libraries

Your best shots, ready for the next job.

Every client project leaves behind footage worth keeping: the drone pass, the hero product shot, the perfect establishing shot. The Library copies those clips into a library you own, organized by client and project, so the next time that client calls, the footage is a search away.

Libraries

As many as you need

Create named libraries anywhere on your drives, or load one you already have.

Clients

A folder for each

Every client gets its own space inside the library, so footage never gets mixed between jobs.

Projects

Sorted automatically

Clips copy into a folder named for the project they came from, or any name you choose.

Add to the Library

Save the shots worth keeping

Select clips, or whole bins, in your Project panel. Tag them, and The Library copies them into the client's folder in one step.

  • Select a bin and every clip inside comes along
  • Tag the whole batch, or give individual clips their own tags
  • Copies whole RED .RDC folders and image sequences, so nothing is left behind
  • Never moves or deletes your original footage

Pull from the Library

Find it and bring it back

Pick a library and client, search by name or filter by tag, and send the clips you need straight into the project you're working on.

  • Search by name or filter by tags
  • Grid or list view, plus a larger pop-out window for browsing
  • Add to the project or straight into a new bin
  • Import in place, or copy into your project folder first
Built-in Tagging

Tag it once. Find it forever.

Built-in tags cover the shots you reuse most, and you can add your own. The Library's custom-built Vision Engine suggests tags as clips come in. It's a smart engine that runs entirely on your computer and never reaches out to the internet or third-party cloud models.

Tags from the Vision Engine

The Vision Engine looks at each clip on your own computer and suggests tags, so you only have to confirm them. Nothing is uploaded or shared.

Your way

Custom tags

Add your own tags alongside the built-in ones for clients, campaigns, locations, or anything else you search by.

Copy-only

Safe by default

Clips are always copied into the library. If a copy can't finish, the clip isn't added, so the library never points at missing media.

Keeps its value

The footage you perfected for a client is still worth something after delivery. The Library keeps it ready.

Built for cinema cameras

RED folders, image sequences, phone clips, and everything in between copy over whole and stay usable.

Grows with every job

Each project adds to the library, so the next edit for that client starts with more to work with.
