SyncIt
Premiere can only sync clips when their timecode or audio lines up. SyncIt reads your camera clips and recorder files, matches them by timecode, audio waveform, or the motion in the picture, and builds a synced sequence in a few clicks. From a two-camera interview to a multicam shoot with recorders left rolling, no more nudging clips into place by hand.
Four steps from bin to synced sequence.
Select a bin, analyze, review if you want to, and sync. SyncIt builds a brand new sequence and never changes your existing sequences or media files.
No sound. No matching timecode. Still synced.
Sometimes a camera rolls without scratch audio and its timecode doesn't line up with anything. Premiere's own sync has nothing to work with. Visual Sync finds where those clips belong by watching the picture: it compares the movement in each silent clip with the cameras SyncIt has already synced, and places it where the motion matches.
Learned clock offsets
If the same camera has other clips with sound, SyncIt already knows how far its clock is from the recorder and places the silent clip by its timecode right away.
Try Visual Sync
For whatever is left, one click has Media Encoder render small frames and compares the motion against cameras that saw the same scene. What it reads is kept, so trying again is quick.
Check sync markers
Picture matches land within about a frame and are always marked for review, with up to three Check sync markers per clip at the moments of clearest movement.

Select your media
Click a bin in the Project panel. SyncIt scans it right away and shows how many cameras and recorders it found, with clip counts, frame rate, channels and timecode for each.
- Sub-bins are included, and camera clips and audio files can be mixed
- Name your bins by camera (CAM A, CAM B) and SyncIt uses those names
- Keeps processed audio copies paired with their originals

Analyze
Five passes, Scan, Media Encoder, Read audio, Compare and Verify, with time so far and time left. Stop at any point and nothing is lost.
Every clip lands in Confirmed, Probable, Review or Unmatched, so you know exactly how sure SyncIt is before you sync.

Review by take
Results are grouped by take, with takes that need a look listed first. Click any clip to see why SyncIt matched it, and untick anything you want to leave out.

Sync it
Name the sequence, choose its size and the gap between takes, and optionally give your audio the camera timecode. Then click SYNC IT.
- One new sequence in a SyncIt Sequences bin
- A video track per camera and a track per recorder, named for you
- Multichannel recorders like a MixPre get one track per channel
- Takes in shooting order
Lined up to a quarter of a millisecond.
SyncIt is built for real shoots, not tidy demos. It works out each camera's clock offset, uses timecode to narrow the search, and lets the audio waveform lock every recording into place.
Clock offsets learned
SyncIt measures how far each camera's clock drifts from the recorder, so even loose timecode gets close before the waveform match.
One track per channel
Multiple recorders each get their own track, and multichannel recorders like a MixPre are split into one track per channel.
Shooting order
Takes are laid out in the order they were shot, with your choice of gap between them, and extra cameras sit on the nearest frame.
Handles multiple cameras · multiple recorders · multichannel recorders · recorders left rolling between takes · cameras with no sound

See why every clip matched
Show details reveals each camera's clock offset and how far timecode narrowed the search. Timecode gets close, and the audio waveform locks it in.
Safe by design
SyncIt only ever builds a new sequence. Your existing sequences, clips and media files are never changed.
Real-world shoots
Multiple cameras, multiple recorders, recorders left rolling between takes, and cameras that rolled without sound are all handled.
