LUT
Buddy
LUT Buddy turns a messy folder of LUTs into an organized library you can search, preview on your own footage, and apply to your timeline in one click. It recognizes your cameras, suggests the right conversion, and never renames, moves, or deletes your LUT files.
Your whole LUT library, inside Premiere.
Add your LUTs, tell LUT Buddy what you shoot on, and the right LUT is always a search away. Preview it, compare it, and apply it without leaving your timeline.
See it on your footage before you commit.
Preview any LUT on a reference chart, a frame grabbed from your timeline, or a still, with a split view to see before and after. When it looks right, LUT Buddy sets it as the Input LUT on every selected clip in one click, and one undo takes it back.

Chart, frame or still
See any LUT on a reference chart, a frame from your timeline, or your own still, with Split, Before and After views.
Up to four side by side
Line up as many as four LUTs on the same picture, next to the untouched original, in a big resizable window.
One click, one undo
Conversions go on as each clip's Input LUT, creative looks go through Lumetri, and stacks apply a conversion and a look together.

Start with official LUTs
Pick your camera makers and LUT Buddy lists each one's official download pages, tells you what each page asks for, and imports the folder when you're done, skipping duplicates and damaged files.
- Official LUTs from 14 camera makers, from ARRI and RED to DJI and GoPro
- Import an existing collection, scanned first for duplicates and damaged files
- Add a few new LUTs in seconds, straight into a collection
- Leave files where they are, or copy them into one LUT Buddy Library

Tell it what you shoot on
Choose your camera from a library of 191 models from 15 makers, tick the formats and log you record, and LUT Buddy recognizes your footage from then on. Or select a clip from each camera in your timeline and click Add from Selected Clips.
Select a clip and LUT Buddy suggests the conversion LUTs made for its log.

Find out why it looks flat
Color Check reads every clip in a sequence, works out what it was shot in, and flags anything that will look wrong before you start grading.
- Red, amber and green groups by camera and footage
- Shows where each answer came from: the file, Premiere, or your cameras
- Fix What Can Be Fixed sets the right conversion on every clip in one step
- Only looks: nothing in your project changes until you say so
The right conversion is already in there.
LUT Buddy knows the official LUTs camera makers publish. Any LUT that matches one is marked Official, linked to the maker's page, and offered first when it fits the clips you've selected.
One copy stays
Identical LUTs are found and hidden, and their favorites, tags and collections move to the copy that stays. Files are never touched.
Relink in one pass
Moved a drive? Point LUT Buddy at the new folder and it relinks everything, matching by contents first, then by name.
Your setup in one file
Export your whole library setup, with every LUT's organization, your cameras and stacks, and bring it to a new drive or computer.
Official LUTs from Apple · ARRI · Blackmagic Design · Canon · DJI · Fujifilm · GoPro · Kinefinity · Leica · Nikon · Panasonic · RED · Sony · Z CAM

Keep your library healthy
Library Health watches for missing, offline, damaged and duplicate LUTs, and flags any LUT whose numbers show a problem, like crushed blacks, clipped highlights or tone reversals that can band.
Categories and your own collections keep thousands of LUTs sorted.
Never touches your files
LUT Buddy reads your LUT files and never renames, moves or deletes them.
Warnings before mistakes
Get a heads-up before converting twice, putting a Rec.709 look on log footage, or using a LUT made for a different log.
Ready for handoff
Copy every LUT you apply into a folder next to the project, or export a collection to send to your colorist.
