Dailies
Toolkit
Every shoot starts the same way: cards to sort, bins to build, clips to name and camera notes to log. Dailies Toolkit does that groundwork for you. Point it at a shoot folder and it recognizes each camera and sound recorder, builds your bins, names and labels your clips, and logs camera settings, so the project is organized before the first cut.
Three steps from shoot folder to organized project.
Point it at the shoot folder, build the project from your template, then hand off audio and color to the rest of the family. Camera files are never renamed, moved or changed.
It knows every card on the cart.
Point Dailies Toolkit at the day's shoot folder and it reads each card the way a DIT would: which camera shot it, at what resolution, frame rate and log profile, and how many clips are on it. Sound recorders are found too, and anything unusual is flagged before you import a single clip.

Every card, every camera
From cinema cameras to action cameras, drones, smartphones and sound recorders, each card is matched to the camera that shot it.
See it before it happens
Check where every card is going and what was found on it, then untick anything you want to leave out.
Trouble spotted early
HDR phone clips, variable and mixed frame rates, and duplicate files are called out before you start cutting.

Bins, names and labels in one pass
Dailies Toolkit builds your bin template and imports every clip into the right bin. Clips get clean names in Premiere and a color label for their camera, and one dailies sequence is made per camera.
- Name clips with tokens like date, camera, scene and take
- Only clip names in Premiere change, never your camera files
- ISO, white balance, lens and log profile land in project columns

Build every project the same way
Save the way you like a project built: your bins, clip names, camera labels and log columns. Every shoot then comes in the same way, so you always know where to find things.
- Bins made automatically from cards, days and cameras
- Each camera gets its own color label
- Pick which camera settings are logged into columns

Pass it to the rest of the family
Once the project is built, send the audio to SyncIt to sync, set camera LUTs in LUT Buddy, and save a camera report PDF for the production.
Your camera originals stay untouched.
Professional workflows never rename camera originals, and neither does Dailies Toolkit. Everything it does happens inside your Premiere project, so the files on your drives stay exactly as the cameras wrote them.
Nothing on the card changes
Clip names, labels and columns live in the Premiere project. The files on disk keep their original names and folders.
Works with SyncIt and LUT Buddy
Audio goes straight to SyncIt for syncing, and camera LUTs go to LUT Buddy, without starting over.
A camera report to share
Save a PDF of every card, camera and flag from the day for the production team.
Recognizes cinema cameras · mirrorless cameras · action cameras · drones · smartphones · sound recorders
Built by a DP
Made by a working cinematographer for the way real shoot days come back from set.
Organized from day one
Bins, names, labels and notes are in place before the first cut, not cleaned up after.
Part of the family
Hands off to SyncIt and LUT Buddy so ingest, sync and color work as one pass.
