Anamorphic
Toolkit
Premiere only offers a handful of fixed pixel aspect ratios. Anamorphic Toolkit sets any squeeze you shoot, from 1.25x to 2x and everything in between, and adds a full suite of anamorphic tools right inside Premiere, everything you need to desqueeze, reframe, and work in the format without leaving your timeline. Whether you're a new creator or an industry professional, it's built for every experience level.
Two ways in. One panel.
Easy mode walks you through a desqueeze in four quick steps. Full mode opens every tool: pixel aspect ratios, frame guides, sequences, export settings, a field of view calculator, and a built-in library of cameras, sensor formats and anamorphic lenses.
Set the squeeze Premiere can't.
Premiere only lets you interpret footage with a short, fixed list of pixel aspect ratios, so many of today's most popular anamorphic squeezes simply aren't there. Anamorphic Toolkit sets any custom pixel aspect ratio you need, right on your clips, so your footage desqueezes exactly the way it was shot.

Pick a factor
Choose from common squeeze factors with one click, from 1.25x up to 2x.
Pick your glass
Choose your anamorphic lens from the library and the correct squeeze is applied for you.
Dial in anything
Type or slide to any pixel aspect ratio, preview it on a real frame, and undo it anytime with Edit › Undo.

Desqueeze in four steps
Tell it what you shot on and which lens you used, grab a frame to check the look, then pick the aspect ratio you want to deliver. Anamorphic Toolkit sets the squeeze and sizes any new sequence for you.
- Pick your camera brand, model and resolution
- Choose your anamorphic lens and the squeeze is set automatically
- Preview a real frame and fine tune the squeeze
- Deliver in 2.40:1, 2.39:1, 2:1, 1.85:1, 16:9, 4:3 or 9:16

Frame guides for every delivery
Overlay target ratios like 2.39, 16:9 and 9:16 on a grabbed frame to see exactly what each delivery keeps. Export a transparent TGA frame guide or add it straight to your project.

Hand off at the exact size
Pick an export resolution, aspect ratio and codec, and Anamorphic Toolkit works out the target resolution, megapixels and scale against your source, then builds an export sequence and queues it in Media Encoder.

Know your field of view
Get horizontal and vertical angle of view plus spherical equivalents for any sensor, focal length and squeeze, so you can plan coverage and match lenses before the shoot.
Your camera is already in there.
Anamorphic Toolkit ships with an extensive library of cinema and mirrorless cameras, broken out by every recording mode and sensor format. Pick your camera and mode, and the resolution, sensor size, crop factor and open gate details are filled in for you, along with the squeeze factors that suit it best.
Not just the camera
Each recording mode is its own preset, from 4.6K 3:2 Open Gate to 16:9 crops, with its own resolution, aspect ratio and maximum frame rate.
Verified sensor data
Resolutions and physical sensor sizes are checked against manufacturer sources, and crop factor is calculated, never guessed.
