I've been a creative person my whole life, even as a kid. I used to steal the family camcorder to make little home movies, and I turned any school project I could into a video.

I went to the Savannah College of Art and Design to pursue film and television, because I always knew that creating visuals on a screen was what I wanted to do. After film school I moved back home to the Northern Virginia, Maryland, and Washington, DC area, and I was lucky enough to fall into a couple of projects that inspired me to start my own production company and go into business for myself.

Venturing out into the industry as an independent cinematographer gave me a new perspective, and I was lucky enough to start working on projects across all kinds of fields and genres. I've gotten a little bit of experience with all of it: reality TV, short and long-form narrative, commercials, corporate work, and interviews. Every type of project taught me something new, and I'd adapt my style and my technique and pick up more tools that let me keep working efficiently and productively, all without sacrificing the story or losing sight of the client's vision in the final product.

Ever since, I've been honing my skills, my craft, and my eye. What I enjoy most is telling stories and bringing a client's vision to life in ways they never thought possible. I love the moment when a client sees their idea come to life even better than they pictured it. To do that as well as I can, I certified as an FAA Part 107 drone pilot, so I can add imagery and a service that truly complements a project. And I run a YouTube channel where I give back to the filmmaking community and share what I know with the next generation of filmmakers and creatives.

Honestly, I'm no happier than when I'm on set, under pressure, figuring out problems and working alongside other creatives toward a common goal. We'll go to any length to get there, and to make sure the final result is something we're all proud of.
